what could be the best porsche sport car?

Question 1
what could be the best porsche sport car?…

Answers
1)   There aren’t any. Spend the money on buying something which appreciates in value or something you can donate to the community.

Don’t buy things, buy value – especially for the good of the earth. – lakegal

2)   Many articles I’ve read over the years point to the Cayman S (a coupe) as being the best balanced Porsche for handling. The 911 is faster with a more powerful engine but costs significantly more. Perhaps the fave today for speed PLUS every day livability is the 2011 911 Turbo S. If you can afford it, go for it! You only live once! – unicare58

3)   carrera gt ???

ruf CTR3 ???

Gemballa mirage GT ???

Gemballa Tornado ??? – JD

4)   Sorry, but I like the simple classics, the 904.
Known officially as the Porsche Carrera GTS.
It was an extremely light fiberglass and aluminum body, so the 4, 6, or 8 cylinder engines were more than enough.
Even the 4 could do 0-60 in less then 6 seconds. – Motorhead

5)   The one you can afford… – Not so Mad Scientist

6)   The Porsche GT, I hear there is a new body style of it due out that will put the old one to shame! – Porscheman951

7)   definatly the porsche 911 carrera GT or porsche 911 twin turbo xxx – icharleyXoXo

8)   The greatest of all-time? I would say the Porsche 959. It was at one point the fastest car ever, and with only about 200 built, one of the rarest.

As far as modern/obtainable cars go……I say still to the 911. As a lifelong Porsche fan, I feel that the 911 is the only and only true Porsche. It is the car that has carried the company since the 1960s and is the car that defines the company with the best reputation.

The Boxster was made in response to the Mazda Miata, so that should tell you something.

The Cayman is another "entry" level Porsche. It is impossible to be the "best" if it is "entry" level.

The new Porsche 911 Turbo can do 0-60 in 2.9 seconds, making it faster than the Lamborghini Murceilago and the Ferrari Fiorano. – Nick1212

9)   the 911 turbo – Brian Jones

Question 2
2011 range rover sport vs 2011 Porsche cayenne?…  Which one do you recommend and be specific please.

Answers
1)   If you want a car that has a poor seating position, poor ergonomics and poor handling then choose the range rover sport. – Scarface

2)   Scarface is right. If you want a car that has a poor seating position, poor ergonomics and poor handling then choose the range rover sport.
BUT
If you want the car that was ultimately the stupidest decision ever made by a car company, go with the Porsche Cayenne. – Fallen Angel

3)   The range rover has a better ride. It is less bumpy. – Chandler

4)   It depends on what you plan to use the car for.

If you want offroad prowess, then go for the Range Rover, hands down. It can climb over or thru most anything the typical off-roader will throw at it.

If you want on-highway performance and handling, go for the Porsche. No contest. – Richard

5)   I prefer the porsche cayenne s it is a nicer ride then the sport and is faster – Jim

6)   The connotation of "sport" on the Range Rover, is like the SPORT badge you see on a Ford Explorer…a little bit stiffer springs, maybe thicker roll bars, remapping of engine shifts…that’s about as good as it get’s. Both have outstanding off-road capabilities.

Although I would’nt be caught dead driving an SUV, the Porsche will run circles around the Range Rover, and is MUCH more reliable than the Rover as well. There is a reason in the middle-east(which vanquishes machinery) Porsche’s are driven widely in the desert’s of Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Abu Dabai, etc. They hold up… – Not so Mad Scientist

7)   Porsche is nicer and is still a German car. Range Rover is no longer owned by a German company. So if one is going to pay that much I would get the Cayenne. – RAULC

8)   For me they are the same – Marc

9)   Get the Porsche, I hate what they did with the back, but the front of the Porsche is beautiful. I definitely recommend getting the Cayenne S though, if you can afford the $65,000 price tag, if you’re getting the Cayenne S then you should absolutely go for it, the Range Rover can’t compete with the Porsche, and of course the German engineering. – Nick

Question 3
Ferrari or porsche? which car is prettier?…  I think the most beautiful Ferrari models.

Answers
1)   u gave manufactures.. u didnt give specific models… –

2)   I like both if them. But the real hell cat is Porsche 917 twin turbo 1150 HP. 0 to 60-= 2.5 sec. top speed 212 MPH. – renegadesail

3)   porsche!
(: – Lgia100%So Paulina

4)   i think porsches are ugly. sorry porsche fans. – Vincent

5)   Ferrari’s are nice, I would call them beautiful or pretty but definitely amazing. I’m partial to Lambo’s though. Im not big on Ferrari’s.

Aston’s are beautiful as are Bentley’s and Rolls.

Porsche’s in my view are not pretty, but they are darn cool. The styling is a bit retro, just a tad, but they are practical sports cars. At times I can say a 911 Targa is a beautiful car. – BimmerCat!

6)   definetly the Ferraris. Many porsche models, like the panamera, are very ugly. The only ugly Ferrari is the 612 Scaglietti. So definetly the Ferraris – Andrew

7)   BMW – eaglestotheSBin2010

8)   This is obviously subjective. I’m a long time Porsche 911 owner. I know Porsches are mechanically superior to Ferraris. The Italian super cars are engineered to the very limit — they break way too easily. German engineers are more conservative and know what a factor of safety is all about (Yeah, I’m a mechanical engineer).

BUT, when it comes to sheer over-the-top design panache, you’ve got to hand it to the Italians. Porsches are hardly ugly; in fact, the Cayman is truly a beautiful car. The 911 is an "icon," something so beloved by its fans that Porsche is actually afraid of changing it too much. When they had come to the absolute limit of what could be done with an air-cooled engine in 1998, they introduced a water-cooled 911 in 1999 — to silence and even outright hatred from the faithful.

The 911 is the second oldest sports car design still being produced. Corvette is first and Mustang third.

So, to reiterate: Porsches are beautiful cars — I’m stopped every time I drive my 2005 911 Turbo S coupe (shown) by people, including BMW and Corvette owners, who tell me how beautiful the car is. The real crown pretty in the stable is the Cayman. Ferraris are impractical as hell, but amazing to look at, AND I must admit that the car I examined carefully one day that looked most like a starship come to earth was a Lamborghini. – designergenes

9)   Ferrari is a work of art, but the biggest bang for one’s buck is a porsche also they are still pretty nice looking. – RAULC

10)   Saleen S7 :p – Duke Of Nothing

11)   Definitely Ferrari. Although Porsches have the excellent German engineering, the Ferrari is just absolutely beautiful, and of course most of the time faster than the Porsche. Plus, I really don’t like Porsche’s circle lights, they don’t look agressive at all, I just like the back of Porsches. Now compare that to the new Ferrari 458 Italia, gorgeous from every angle!!! – Nick

I like Harley’s….but I absolutely LOVE my 930 – Not so Mad Scientist

A Porsche costs a lot more, but lasts a lot longer and is much safer and can carry more with less effort. – Motorhead

10)   As a Porsche 911 owner, who feels that the 911 is the only true Porsche, I say go for the Harley. It has a great reputation and will give you more head turns. The Boxster will always be the "little sister" to the 911. – Nick1212
